Volunteer Opportunities
Tournament & Event Support
- Roles: Registration, scorekeeping, timekeeping, hospitality, setup/breakdown
- Commitment: Weekend tournaments (typically 1-3 days)
- Requirements: Reliable, friendly, team player
- Training: Provided on-site
- Perks: Free meals during events, volunteer t-shirt, priority access to future events
Youth Coaching & Mentoring
- Roles: Assistant coaches, on-ice/on-court helpers, skill development assistants
- Commitment: 2-3 hours per week during season
- Requirements: Background check, coaching certification (or willingness to obtain), passion for youth development
- Training: USA Hockey, USA Basketball, or USAV certification programs available

Learn to Skate & Play Programs
- Roles: On-ice assistants, equipment helpers, class support
- Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, 8-week sessions
- Requirements: Skating ability (for on-ice roles), patience, enthusiasm

Volunteer Requirements
- Age: Minimum 16 years old (14-15 with parent/guardian supervision)
- Background Check: Required for all volunteers working with youth (we cover the cost)
- Orientation: Attend a volunteer orientation session (2 hours)
- Commitment: Varies by role - we have flexible and ongoing opportunities
- Reliability: Show up on time and fulfill commitments
- Attitude: Positive, team-oriented, and passionate about sports and community
